Los Fiscales de los Tribunales y de los Juzgados Superiores están en la obligación de practicar visitas mensuales a las oficinas de la Policía Judicial, Juzgados de Circuito y Superiores, a fin de tomar nota de los sumarios que cursen en dichas oficinas, el estado en que se encuentren, fecha de su iniciación, demoras en que se haya incurrido, irregularidades que se observen, detenciones que se hayan decretado, etc., y dar de todo ello cuenta al respectivo Tribunal a fin de que este ordene inmediatamente corregir las irregularidades o ilegalidades que se hayan anotado, y se proceda a exigir la responsabilidad legal a quien corresponda.
