Para los mismos efectos señalados en el artículo anterior, los empleados públicos no escalafonados en carrera administrativa, a quienes se les suprima el cargo de acuerdo con las facultades de suprimir, fusionar y crear cargos otorgadas al Contralor General de la República en el artículo 56 de la Ley 42 de 1993 en la entidad, tendrán derecho a recibir los mismos beneficios previstos para lo cual bastará reunir el requisito de tiempo de servicio que la norma establece.
