Las acuñaciones y reacuñaciones de que trata la presente Ley, podrá efectuarlas el Gobierno en cualquiera de las Casas de Moneda de Bogotá y Medellín, o en el Exterior.
Las acuñaciones en el Exterior sólo se harán cuando el Gobierno tenga plena seguridad de que en el país donde se verifiquen se permitirá la traída inmediata a Colombia de las monedas fabricadas.
