Artículo diez y siete. En el registro de toda obra extranjera, se dejará constancia expresa del tiempo que dura amparada por el registro, de conformidad con la legislación del país de origen o las convenciones internacionales, requisito este que tiene que comprobar el solicitante. El amparo del registro colombiano no puede exceder en tiempo del amparo de registro del país de origen.
