º . Definición. Se entiende por servicio comunitario de vigilancia y seguridad privada, la organización de la comunidad en forma de cooperativa, junta de acción comunal o empresa comunitaria, con el objeto de proveer vigilancia y seguridad privada a sus cooperados o miembros, dentro del área donde tiene asiento la respectiva comunidad.

Parágrafo

Los servicios comunitarios de vigilancia y seguridad privada no podrán prestar servicios de vigilancia y seguridad privada a ningún título a personas diferentes a los cooperados o miembros, o fuera del área autorizada.
