Decreto 2363 de 1986 · Por el cual se reglamenta parcialmente el Título IX de la Ley 09 de 1979, en cuanto a los procedimientos de trasplantes de componentes anatómicos en seres humanos y se sustituye integralmente el Decreto número 2642 de 1980

Cuando quiera que se haya diagnosticado muerte cerebral en los términos del presente Decreto, podrán realizarse procedimientos de perfusión asistida por medios artificiales con el objeto de mantener la óptima viabilidad de los órganos que estén destinados para fines de trasplantes u otros usos terapéuticos. Tales métodos de preservación podrán ser mantenidos aún durante los procedimientos de extracción de los órganos.

Parágrafo

Los costos de perfusión artificial y extracción de órganos estarán a cargo del receptor o los responsables de éste.
