°. Objeto . El presente decreto tiene por objeto la adopción de medidas especiales para la organización del tránsito y la prestación del servicio público de transporte terrestre automotor en el Departamento de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina, encaminadas a su optimización y modernización, con el fin de brindar seguridad en el tránsito, la atención efectiva de la demanda de transporte, el uso racional de la infraestructura vial y la preservación del medio ambiente.
