Los edificios que por leyes o decretos del Poder Ejecutivo, fueron expropiados a institutos religiosos para el servicio de la instrucción pública, se consideran de propiedad nacional, aunque los colegios que en ellos funcionan tengan en. Su dirección autonomía legal. Es deber del Gobierno atender a la conservación y ensanche de tales edificios.
