Los períodos de sesiones ordinarias de los Consejos Intendenciales, serán: En el Chocó, de quince días, prorrogables hasta por cinco días más. En el Meta, de diez días, prorrogables hasta por cinco días más. En San Andrés y Providencia, de cinco días, prorrogables hasta por cinco días más. Las prórrogas no tendrán validez sin el voto afirmativo del Intendente.
