La Junta Directiva del Ferrocarril del Pacifico procederá a iniciar los trabajos de construcción de la línea férrea que partiendo de El Zarzal debe unir a dicho ferrocarril la población de Armenia, centro comercial del Quindío, aprovechando los estudios del trazado de esa línea ya practicados y que reposan en el Ministerio de Obras públicas.
