Recibido el expediente por el juez sustanciador, se procede a su estudio para dictar el auto que ordena cerrar la investigación procediendo en la misma forma que en los procesos menores para dictar este auto. Dictado el auto de cierre de la investigación, el juez da traslado del expediente por el término de veinticuatro horas, al fiscal, para que emita concepto sobre el mérito del sumario.
