El presente decreto rige a partir de la fecha de su publicación y deroga las disposiciones que le sean contrarias, en especial la Resolución 00857 del 5 de octubre de 1992 expedida por el Ministerio de Agricultura y la Resolución 00226 del 3 de agosto de 1994 expedida por el Ministerio del Medio Ambiente. Dado en Santa Fe de Bogotá, D. C. a 30 de septiembre de 1997.
