El Departamento del Valle podrá continuar la conservación y reconstrucción de las carreteras de que trata el artículo anterior, así como adelantar su construcción, en cuyo caso las inversiones que haga por tal concepto le serán reintegradas por la Nación, para cuyo efecto presentará los gastos correspondientes al Ministerio de Obras Públicas.
