Se consideran causales genéricas de retiro definitivo del servicio y de la carrera las siguientes

Insubsistencia por una calificación de servicios no satisfactoria

Insubsistencia por inhabilidad directa o sobreviniente

Renuncia aceptada

Destitución del cargo

Supresión del cargo en los términos de ley

Vacancia por abandono del cargo

Revocatoria del nombramiento

Declaratoria de nulidad del nombramiento

Retiro con derecho a pensión de jubilación
