Artículo segundo. El Gobierno Nacional, en homenaje a la memoria del Profesor Luis López de Mesa, ordenará erigir, en el Municipio de Don Matías, Departamento de Antioquia, cuna del insigne maestro, un monumento con la siguiente inscripción: "Al ilustre humanista Profesor Luis López de Mesa la República de Colombia en el centenario de su natalicio, 1884-1984 (Ley ... de 198..)".
