El Servicio Odontológico Obligatorio a que se refiere la Ley 10 de 1962 , tendrá una duración mínima de doce (12) meses y se prestará con posterioridad al grado correspondiente. Este servicio odontológico se cumplirá únicamente a través de una de las siguientes formas:

Como odontólogo en un Centro o Puesto de Salud dependiente del Ministerio de Salud Pública;

Como odontólogo en una de las unidades móviles;

Como odontólogo en una campaña de Salubridad Rural organizada o auspiciada por el Ministerio de Salud Pública.
