Con el fin de garantizar la integralidad de la planificación de la infraestructura de transporte, el Director General de la Unidad de Planeación de Infraestructura de Transporte hará parte, con voz pero sin voto, de los Consejos Directivos del Instituto Nacional de Vías (Invías), la Agencia Nacional de Infraestructura (ANI) y la Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil (Aerocivil).
