El Gobierno hará seleccionar cuidadosamente y metódicamente todos los mapas y cartas geográficas que existan en la Biblioteca y en los archivos nacionales. Estas cartas y mapas serán catalogados bajo la denominación de Mapoteca Colombiana , la cual será conservada en los archivos nacionales.
