Control departamental. A nivel departamental, dicho control lo adelantarán aquellos comités que establecen los artículos 22 a 25 del Decreto 1222 de 1986. Estos comités supervisarán que no se cubran las mismas necesidades por parte de proyectos remitidos por diferentes municipios de su área geográfica, o por parte de éstos y de proyectos remitidos por el departamento. Actuarán como Secretaría Técnica y Administrativa de dichos Comités las Oficinas de Planeación Departamentales, o la dependencia que haga sus veces.
