° A partir de la vigencia del presente Decreto y para efecto de prestaciones sociales, los grados de General y Teniente General conferidos por el Gobierno con anterioridad al año de 1953, corresponden al de General previsto en la Ley 126 de 1959, siendo entendido que esta disposición no da a los beneficiados derecho a reclamar ninguna suma por concepto de la diferencia entre las asignaciones por ellos recibidas hasta la fecha y las que de ahora en adelante les corresponden.
