Los instrumentos privados deben presentarse originales. Sólo podrán presentarse en copia:

1ºCuando hayan sido protocolizados;

2º Cuando consistieren en apuntes, libros de cuentos, o pertenecieren a terceros. Las copias en este caso se expedirán por el Secretario, previa exhibición;

3º Cuando se hubieren expedido por decreto de Juez, previa la correspondiente exhibición; y

4º Cuando figuren yá en juicio y no se pueda obtener el desglose.
