Por las autoridades de aduana del puerto respectivo a donde llegue una nave, se le exigirán al respectivo Capitán los documentos del despacho original de dicha nave y los correspondientes a los despachos intermedios, para hacer efectivo sobre ellos el pago de los respectivos derechos consulares.
