LICENCIA POR MATERNIDAD Y ABORTO . Las Agentes de la Policía Nacional en servicio activo, en estado de embarazo, tienen derecho en la época del alumbramiento, a una licencia de ocho (8) semanas remuneradas con la totalidad de los haberes correspondientes a su categoría. Cuando en el curso del embarazo sufran aborto, la licencia remunerada será de cuatro (4) semanas. La licencia remunerada por maternidad o por aborto debe concederse desde la fecha indicada por la Sanidad de la Policía Nacional, la que expedirá en todos los casos el certificado correspondiente. Las licencias por maternidad y aborto no interrumpen el tiempo de servicio.
