Art. 4° La Junta abrirá un rejistro de los nombres de todos los esclavos existentes en el canton, espresando, si fuere posible, la fecha i el lugar del nacimiento de cada uno de ellos, el distrito parroquial de su residencia i el dueño a que pertenezca. De este rejistro se sacará copia legalizada, la cual se enviará a la Junta provincial de manumisión.
