El Congresista en el ejercicio de la función congresional, cuya conducta derive consecuencias ético disciplinarias, se le aplicará el procedimiento establecido en el presente código. Por tanto, gozará del respeto y protección de sus derechos fundamentales, en particular del debido proceso y demás garantías procesales establecidas en la Constitución Política y la presente ley.
