º . Caución . En el caso que el adquirente de un nuevo vehículo de servicio público de transporte de carga, por cualquier causa, no realice inmediatamente la desintegración física total a que está obligado, podrá ingresar el automotor prestando a favor del Ministerio de Transporte una caución consistente en garantía bancaria o mediante póliza de seguros expedida por una compañía del ramo debidamente habilitada, vigente en ambos casos por un término de dieciocho (18) meses. Dicha caución deberá ser presentada para su aprobación ante el Ministerio de Transporte. Para el registro inicial de estos vehículos, el Ministerio de Transporte, expedirá una certificación con destino a los organismos de tránsito, mediante la cual se aprueba la caución respectiva.
