Article 41

El Contralor Distrital Tendrá Las Siguientes Funciones Y Atribuciones: 1° Llevar El Registro De La Deuda Pública Del Distrito; 2° Prescribir Los Métodos De Contabilidad De La Administración Distrital Y Sus Entidades Descentralizadas, Y La Manera De Rendir Cuentas Los Responsables Del Manejo De Fondos O Bienes Distritales; 3° Exigir Informes A Los Empleados Públicos Distritales Sobre Su Gestión Fiscal; 4° Revisar Y Fenecer Las Cuentas De Los Responsables Del Erario; 5° Los Demás Que Le Señalen Las Leyes Y Los Acuerdos

El Contralor Distrital tendrá las siguientes funciones y atribuciones: 1° Llevar el Registro de la deuda pública del Distrito; 2° Prescribir los métodos de contabilidad de la Administración Distrital y sus entidades descentralizadas, y la manera de rendir cuentas los responsables del manejo de fondos o bienes distritales; 3° Exigir informes a los empleados públicos distritales sobre su gestión fiscal; 4° Revisar y fenecer las cuentas de los responsables del Erario; 5° Los demás que le señalen las leyes y los acuerdos.

Parágrafo

A partir del 1° de enero de 1969 la contabilidad y cuentas públicas del Distrito, así como los empleados que actualmente tienen a su cargo tales funciones, quedarán bajo el cuidado y dependencia de la Secretaría de Hacienda.
