º . El Consejo asesorará al Ministro del Medio Ambiente sobre la viabilidad ambiental de la propuesta de política ambiental de carácter nacional. El Consejo podrá proponer al Ministerio del Medio Ambiente lineamientos de política ambiental sectorial y mecanismos para su desarrollo, seguimiento y evaluación.
