° Capital. Las empresas de vigilancia privada se deben constituir con un capital social, suscrito y pagado no inferior a 500 salarios mínimos legales mensuales, comprobados a la fecha de la constitución. Cuando se trate de abrir sucursales, el capital social deberá aumentarse en un cincuenta por ciento (50%), por cada sucursal.

Parágrafo

Las empresas de vigilancia privada que se hallen funcionando debidamente autorizadas con anterioridad a la vigencia del presente Decreto, deberán aumentar su capitalsocial conforme a lo previsto en este artículo, en un lapso máximo de dos (2) años, contados a partir de la vigencia del mismo.
