Art. 1°. Desde la publicación del presente Decreto la Junta nacional de Amortización suspenderá la incineración del papel-moneda, excepción hecha de los billetes deteriorados, en cuantos sean reemplazados por billetes nuevos y de los que se sustituyan por otro de nueva edición. Los fondos en papel-moneda que recaude la Junta en virtud de los remates de oro que verifique de acuerdo con la ley, y que hasta hoy se ha destinado a la incineración, ingresaran a la tesorería general como rentas comunes del Tesoro.
