Dado su alto nivel de peligrosidad, se prohíbe la importación de ejemplares caninos de las razas Staffordshire terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, o de caninos producto de cruces o híbridos de estas razas, así como el establecimiento de centros de crianza de esta clase de ejemplares caninos en el territorio nacional.
