La Nación honra la memoria de Luis Antonio Robles, eximia figura nacional, por haber sido en su momento un aguerrido paladín de la democracia y tribuno intérprete del sentir popular, en reconocimiento a sus meritorias realizaciones como parlamentario, o bien como Secretario del Tesoro, cuando cumple en 1999, ciento cincuenta años de su natalicio y cien de fallecido.
