El recinto de sesiones de la Comisión Sexta Constitucional Permanente de la Honorable Cámara de Representantes, llevará el nombre de José Fernando Castro Caycedo, en homenaje póstumo por sus grandes aportes a la Patria desde esta célula legislativa, a la cual perteneció durante dos períodos como Representante por Bogotá. Por tal motivo se colocará un óleo con su rostro y una placa alusiva a su nombre.
