Los edificios y demás bienes muebles o inmuebles que en la fecha de comenzar a funcionar el Departamento de La Guajira sean de propiedad de la Nación y hayan estado al servicio de la Intendencia del mismo nombre, se destinarán al servicio del Departamento de La Guajira.
