Art. 3.° Igualmente, costeados por la Nación, se mandarán hacer dos retratos al óleo y dos bustos del ilustre finado. Al pie de cada uno de ellos se pondrá esta inscripción:

Al eminente patricio Bartolomé Calvo, el Congreso de 1890.

Uno de los retratos será colocado en el salón del Senado; el otro, con copia auténtica de esta Ley, será presentado en Quito, por el Representante de Colombia en aquella capital, a la señora viuda de Calvo. Los bustos serán obsequiados en nombre de la República, uno a la Municipalidad de Cartagena, ciudad que fue cuna de Calvo; y el otro a la Asamblea Departamental de Panamá, ya que nuestro Istmo fue la región en que primero aparecieron en alto relieve las singulares dotes gubernativas de varón tan preclaro.
