º La Jefatura del Estado Mayor General de las Fuerzas Militares es la entidad encargada de revisar, en apelación o consulta las sentencias pronunciadas por los Consejos de Guerra Verbales, y puede reformarlas o declarar injusto el veredicto cuando sea contrario a la evidencia de los hechos. En este último caso, ordenará al Comando de la Brigada respectiva convocar un nuevo Consejo de Guerra, cuyo veredicto es definitivo.
