El depósito previo de importación no podrá ser devuelto antes de la nacionalización de la mercancía, salvo cuando la Superintendencia de Comercio Exterior, a solicitud del importador, haya aceptado la cancelación de la licencia, o cuando ocurrieren faltantes en la mercancía importada, todo ello de acuerdo con reglamentación de la misma Superintendencia.
