La Nación sufragará los gastos de enfermedad y hospitalización del mismo, en cumplimiento de la proposición número 123 de 1947, publicada en el número 35 de los Anales del año mencionado, y costeará un retrato al óleo del doctor Bolaños, el que será colocado en el salón de sesiones del honorable Consejo Municipal de Bolívar (Cauca), su ciudad natal.
