Seguro Ecológico Obligatorio . El seguro ecológico será obligatorio para todas aquellas actividades humanas que le puedan causar daños al ambiente y que requieran licencia ambiental, de acuerdo con la ley y los reglamentos. En los eventos en que la persona natural o jurídica que tramite la licencia tenga ya contratada una póliza de responsabilidad civil extracontractual para amparar perjuicios producidos por daños al ambiente y a los recursos naturales, la autoridad ambiental verificará que efectivamente tenga las coberturas y los montos asegurados adecuados.
