De conformidad con el artículo 17 de la Ley 23 de 1962, el gerente, el administrador, el propietario o propietarios y el director responsable de los establecimientos farmacéuticos que fabriquen, distribuyan, despachen o vendan productos farmacéuticos, son solidariamente responsables civil o penalmente de la calidad, pureza y autenticidad de los productos que fabriquen, adquieran, distribuyan, despachen o vendan en el respectivo establecimiento.
