Ascenso de Escalafón. Los Suboficiales en servicio que hayan adelantado estudios universitarios al término y aprobación de estos, previa solicitud y concepto favorable de la Junta Asesora de la Policía Nacional, podrán pasar al Escalafón de Oficiales del respectivo servicio en el grado de Subteniente. Si hubieren optado su título profesional podrán hacerlo en el grado de Teniente.
