La ausencia sin justa causa a tres (3) o más reuniones consecutivas, por parte de los representantes elegidos por las Asociaciones de Profesionales y por las Universidades dará lugar a la pérdida de la calidad de miembro del Consejo Nacional de Profesiones Internacionales y Afines, situación que será declarada por los miembros restantes, y notificada en los términos previstos en la ley. Una vez en firme la decisión se generará ausencia permanente con los efectos previstos en este decreto.
