Decreto 1242 de 1997 · por el cual se dictan disposiciones para el otorgamiento de la Medalla Cívica "Camilo Torres" y se subroga el Decreto 3436 de 1948.

El beneficiado perderá el derecho a la Medalla Cívica "Camilo Torres" por los siguientes motivos

Haber sido suspendido en el ejercicio del cargo como consecuencia de un proceso penal o disciplinario;

Haber sido desvinculado del Escalafón Nacional Docente;

Haber sido condenado a pena privativa de libertad, excepto por delitos culposos.

Parágrafo

Para derogar el decreto de imposición de la Medalla Cívica "Camilo Torres" será indispensable el Concepto de la Junta Nacional de Educación JUNE, previo informe presentado por la Secretaría.
