El Ministerio de Justicia, de acuerdo con las necesidades de auxilio a las autoridades y atendiendo las disponibilidades presupuestales, creará institutos de medicina legal, señalando a cada uno el área de su competencia geográfica. Los institutos mencionados tendrán los laboratorios y prestarán los servicios que el ministerio de terminé.
