º. El artículo 1.3.1.4.2 del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero quedará así: " REDUCCION DE CAPITAL . La Superintendencia Bancaria podrá hacer reducir el capital de los establecimientos bancarios, corporaciones financieras, corporaciones de ahorro y vivienda, compañías de financiamiento comercial y sociedades de servicios financieros por el valor necesario, cuando con motivo de pérdidas se reduzca su patrimonio neto por debajo del valor del capital pagado, sin que esta reducción afecte el límite de capital establecido en la ley".
