Para todo lo relacionado con la construcción y administración de los Hospitales de Quibdó e Istmina, habrá en cada una de esas ciudades un Junta que se llamara Junta del Hospital , compuesta por el Personero Municipal y dos miembros honorables de la respectiva población, nombrados por el Intendente. El Tesorero del Distrito será el Tesorero de la Junta, y en las sesiones que esta tenga podrá emitir conceptos, lo mismo que el Cura párroco y el Medico de Sanidad de cada una de las ciudades nombradas.
