Las extensiones territoriales contratadas para explotaciones forestales, serán alinderadas debidamente al efecto de que las tierras adyacentes puedan ser denunciadas como baldías conforme a las reglas generales de derecho. Los contratistas de tales extensiones forestales serán obligados a conservar los plantíos naturales de que se trata, cultivarlos científicamente, resembrarlos a las distancias convenientes, desherbarlos y mantenerlos en estado de producción, pudiendo obtener prórrogas de sus contratos, como cumplan regularmente estas condiciones.
