El registro tiene por objeto: 1º Servir de medio para constituír y transferir los derechos reales inmuebles; 2º Publicar los actos y contratos que persigan esos fines, y los demás que requieran tal formalidad según la ley, y 3º Garantizar una mayor seguridad en la guarda de los instrumentos que sean registrados.
