Al Suboficial que durante un período de tres (3) años consecutivos no registrare en su Folio de Vida ninguna sanción disciplinaria, se le otorgará un distintivo de buena conducta. Por cada período de tres (3) años, en las mismas condiciones, se otorgará un nuevo distintivo. A partir del tercero se disminuirá el período a dos (2) años.
