El odontólogo está obligado a guardar el secreto profesional en todo lo que, por razón del ejercicio de su profesión, haya visto, escuchado y comprendido, salvo en los casos en que sea eximido de él por disposiciones legales. Así mismo, está obligado a instruir a su personal auxiliar sobre la guarda del secreto profesional.
